The news in the papers. Daddy says that some of the soldiers in Liege can only speak English. They have been going over since a week ago.
Daddy says things are happening but they are being censored so that there is nothing in the papers. HMS Birmingham has sunk the first German submarine in the war. Bank rate is now 5%.
