No news. The Birmingham Mail says it is the lull before the storm. It seems to me that the great battle that is going to be fought will be in Belgium.
There was a copper sky tonight [Copper sky from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, meaning red sky] and I prophesy that we shall hear news of very great importance within a week, probably by Friday night. We have not yet heard a word about where our army and navy are.
