No news from the front. There are some Belgian refugees about here.
I saw a train going inland with the end carriages filled with troops. As I was coming home from church this evening I saw a boy selling papers. I asked him what the placards said and he read it:
“Belgian retreat at Antwerp, official”
And as he went away he added “but the British are behind them to drive them back”. They say 100 refugees are coming here tomorrow. I should love to see them.
