Season 2016 14-18 NOW launched

Yesterday saw the launch  of the 2016 season of 14-18 NOW, a series of art commissions to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.

Inspired by the First World War, the new commissions include film, fashion, visual arts, music, outdoor performance and theatre, taking place across the UK, including Welsh National Opera’s In Parenthesis, which will be performed at the Birmingham Hippodrome on June 10, and Furious Folly, which will take place in Birmingham on July 8 and 9.
