BIRMINGHAM ALIEN’S OFFENCE.
An Egyptian subject named Mohamed F. Leheta, residing in Birmingham, was fined £2 at Llandudno for entering the prohibited area of Carnarvonshire [sic] without the permission of the Chief Constable. It appeared that Mr. Leheta went to spend a short holiday at the Craigydon Boarding House, and gave the usual notice to the Birmingham police, but overlooked the fact that as an Egyptian subject, and therefore an alien, he ought to have obtained the permission of the Chief Constable of the county to which he intended to travel.
