BIRMINGHAM’S FALLEN HEROES.
No Note of Complaint From Parents or Wives.
Alderman Neville Chamberlain was re-elected Lord Mayor of Birmingham to-day, and in returning thanks said up to the end of September there had been inscribed on the local roll of honour 3365 names including 100 officers. He had been struck with the fact that in all the many letters he had received from parents and wives of those who had fallen there was no note of complaint or sign of yielding.
