GIFTS FOR BIRMINGHAM SOLDIERS.
Yesterday 13,000 boxes containing cigarettes, chocolate, and mint lozenges were despatched to Birmingham soldiers at the front “with the best wishes of the Lord Mayor, Lady Mayoress, and citizens of Birmingham”. On the frontispiece of the greeting card appear the flags of the allies.
