SOLDIER RUNS AMOK.
EXCITING SCENES IN STATION STREET.
Exciting scenes were witnessed in Station Street, Birmingham, this afternoon, when a soldier in uniform ran amok and struck out right and left at innocent persons by whom the man was utterly unknown. The soldier evidently had a cork arm, but this did not deter him from being very violent. He was eventually arrested by Police-constable Taylor and taken to Digbeth Police Station. There a man presented himself with his front teeth knocked out and looking very shaky. He complained that he had been assaulted by the soldier, who was detained.
