WAR WORKERS’ OFFENCE
At a Midlands police court yesterday a fine of £5, with the alternative of 26 days’ imprisonment, was imposed on a labourer who was charged with being in possession of a quantity of tobacco and a box of matches whilst in one of his Majesty’s factories on 28 December.
