BIRMINGHAM SHOP ASSISTANTS HELP THE RED CROSS.
A fancy dress dance and whist drive organised by the members of the recreation club Warwick House, Birmingham, and held at the Pitman Hotel, proved successful and happy method of raising funds for the Red Cross. Miss York in the character Dutch boy won the first prize. The fancy-dress group is shown.
