NO CAKES IN THE PARCEL
The “Star” states an Order will shortly be issued by the Army Council prohibiting the sending to soldiers at the front of parcels which contain foods composed entirely or in part of cereal products. This will mean that the cakes, the buns, and the biscuits which the soldier at the front gets from home will have to stop.
