SUNDAY GAMBLING BIRMINGHAM.
MAGISTERIAL WARNING.
Seven men, whose ages ranged from 25 to 43, were before the magistrates in the Third Court of Birmingham Police, to-day, charged with gambling on the canal side near Mount Street, Nechells, yesterday. Special Constable Sadler assisted in the arrest. The Chairman (Mr. Arnold Butler), announcing a fine of 40s. each, said the men would sent to gaol for three months if they were caught gambling again.
