Pte. W. J. Doherty, who was in Home Defence before enlisting in the Army, was buried at Witton Cemetery on 2 June. Cpl. S. Burns, Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry, of 45, Navigation-street, Wallsall, has been wounded.
