REPORTED GOVERNMENT AGREEMENT WITH BREWERS
ADDITIONAL OUTPUT SANCTIONED
It is understood the Government have come to a provisional agreement with the brewers with regard to an increase in the beer output, in view of the needs of harvesters and other workers.
The arrangement is for three months only, and permits during that period that an increase of 33 1/3% in the amount of beer brewed.
It is stipulated that the additional beer is to be of lighter character.
The agreement is to be renewed at the end of three months.
