RESPONSIBLE MINISTERS
The Birmingham branch of the National Union of Clerks passed a resolution asking the Government to remove from public life without pension or emolument the Ministers and officials responsible for the failure of the expeditionary force sent to the Persian Gulf ending with the surrender of General Townshend at Kut-al-Amara.
