BIRMINGHAM MILITARY MEDALLIST
Corporal A. G. Bent, of the Welsh Fusiliers, who has been awarded the Military Medal for gallantry and good conduct in the field during important operations, is a native of Birmingham, his parents residing at 7, Curzon Place, Lower Darwin Street. He joined the army in August, 1915, and, although at present only 19 years of age has been at the front for eighteen months. He is an old pupil of the Moseley Road Council Schools.
