THE NEW QUEEN’S HOTEL
The new portion of the Queen’s Hotel, Birmingham, was opened quietly today, without form or ceremony people entered the new dining room for luncheon, and this afternoon matters were proceeding as though the place had been open for months. By the extension the capacity of the premises has been more than doubled, and instead of 70 bedrooms there are now 150, a number that will be increased to 200 when the scheme is completed. The old portion is being carried on as before.
