At about 2.30 this morning, Police-constable Robert Jones, of the “B” Division, was on duty in Harborne Road, when, near Richmond Hill Road, he found a man (at present unknown) lying unconscious in the road. A bicycle, from which he had evidently fallen was by his side. The man was taken to the Queen’s Hospital, and the cycle to Ladywood Police Station. The unconscious man is described as about 35, having dark hair and clean-shaven face. He was wearing a dark jacket and vest; khaki-coloured knickerbockers, black stockings and boots, and a coloured tie. He is suffering from concussion of the brain.
