EARLIER CLOSING IN BIRMINGHAM
The Early Closing Association have made a successful canvas among the Birmingham city drapers, with the result that it has been agreed to close establishments at seven o’clock on and after today. It is expected that this action on the part of firms in the centre of the city will lead to an earlier closing in the suburbs.
