WALSALL PRISONERS OF WAR.
Walsall prisoners of war have increased from 116 to 202, and the yearly cost of sending food, tobacco, and bread is now £9,740. At a meeting of the War Aims Committee in Walsall last night it was stated that the committee would be expected to find about £5,000 of this money in future.
A further grant of £900 was made to the Prisoners of War Sub-committee, and it was mentioned that an extra flag day would be held this year in October.
