Friend or Foe? Discovery session

Join FRED for a ‘discovery session’ at the Library of Birmingham on Saturday 19 March 2016
Starting at 2.30pm, this 90 minute session will be a chance to meet members of the creative team working on Friend or Foe? who will talk about what they’re discovering in the plays. With three such diverse plays being produced, how is the company approaching them? What are the challenges in staging these plays a century after the end of World War One? How are the actors getting under the skins of their characters, and faithfully producing the roles as the playwrights may have wished?
You will be able to ask the team questions, and also listen to a scratch reading of X=0, John Drinkwater’s verse play to be staged by FRED later in the month.
