BIRMINGHAM SOLDIER WEDS
Miss. Hilda Bates, of Horncastle Lincolnshire, was married to Private W. H. Davis, Royal Berkshire Regiment, at Portsmouth, on Saturday. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Davis, 182, Grange-road, King’s Heath, and was employed at Bournville previous to enlisting. His brother, a corporal in the Warwickshire Regiment, is at present, in hospital, recovering from wounds.
