Workshop: researching newspapers from WW1

Newspaper Research workshop
Liz Palmer, Project Manager for the Birmingham Children of War project, will lead a workshop about the use of newspapers for researching the First World War.
The focus will be on Birmingham newspapers and will include an overview of those available and how to access them. The main regional newspapers have been digitised and are available online at the subscription site www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk. The workshop will cover aspects of searching online, how to bookmark articles of interest and how to download and print them.
The workshop is aimed at volunteers involved with WW1 projects and is free to attend. Please email fobah@outlook.com to book a place.
