SPORTS AT CAPE HILL POSTPONED

The Midland Cross-Country Association had arranged an excellent programme of athletic and cycling sports for this afternoon at Mitchells and Butlers’ Cricket Ground, Cape Hill, but as the weather was far from suitable for such a gathering, and portions of the field were under water, the officials decided to postpone the sports until Saturday afternoon.
