DRUNK IN CHARGE OF A MOTOR LORRY
Archibald Geo. Haggett, Napier Road, Wolverhampton, foreman at a Birmingham garage, was at Rushall fined 40s. for being drunk in charge of a motor lorry at Great Barr on October 11, and £5 for driving a motor lorry in a reckless manner.
Police-sergeant Payne stated that there was a collision near the Bell Inn, and on going to the spot he found defendant in a very drunken condition. Defendant denied that he was drunk, and said he was knocked silly in the collision.
