THE GAZETTE MATINEE
BILLY MERSON TO APPEAR AT THE GRAND.
A notable addition has been made to the all-star programme which has been arranged for the matinee to be held at the Grand Theatre, Birmingham, on Saturday next on behalf of the Birmingham Gazette and Evening Despatch Soldiers’ Fund-a fund which provides welcome Christmas boxes for the boys at the front.
Billy Merson, one of the leading artistes on the brilliant cast of the forthcoming pantomime at the Theatre Royal, will appear, in addition to the best of the variety artistes, who will contribute to a programme of all-round excellence.
The matinee will commence at 2.15 and the prices for admission will be:-
Reserved: Fauteuils, 3s.; dress circle, 2s. 6d.
Unreserved: Upper circle, 1s. 3d.,; pit, 1s.; gallery, 6d. The doors will open at 1 p.m. The whole of the proceeds without any deduction will be given to the Gazette and Despatch Fund.
