MINISTRY OF MUNITIONS

TRAINING FACILITIES FOR WOMEN

CAPABLE AND INTELLIGENT WOMEN WANTED IMMEDIATELY FOR TRAINING on various forms of munition work urgently required by the Government. Candidates should be between 18 and 23 years of age, and are required to pass a Medical Examination.

During the training period a weekly maintenance allowance is payable.

Courses of Instruction are given at the following Training Centres:–

Government Instructional Factory, Lancaster Street, Birmingham… Mr. H. J. Hubble.

Municipal Technical School, Suffolk-street Birmingham… Dr. W. E. Sumpuer.

Aston Technical School, Whitehead-road, Aston… Mr. Chas. White.

Handsworth Technical School, Goldshill-road, Handsworth… Mr. W. E. Harrison.

Walsall Municipal Institute, Walsall… Mr. F. E. Thompson.

Wednesbury Technical Institute, Kendrick-street. Wednesbury… Mr. W. Macfarlane.

There are good prospects for competent workers on the completion of training.
