DISCIPLINE FOR THE “WAACS.”
At Warwick Police Court yesterday, Mr Lloyd Evans (Chairman) pointed out to Maud Staine, of the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps – who admitted being an absentee from her unit (at Edgbaston) – that she must understand that she was under military discipline, and could not be allowed to defy rules made for the good of the corps and country. Defendant was fined 5s. and was told that would have to return to her unit at once.
