SOLDIERS ENTERTAINED.
Anticipation of success for the Sailors’ and Soldiers’ Sunday matinees at the Theatre Royal, Birmingham, have been more than realised. Yesterday there was another large attendance of wounded, convalescent, and discharged soldiers and sailors and nurses.
An entertaining lecture is promised for Sunday next, when Mr. Phillip Rodway, manager of the Theatre Royal, will speak upon stage effects and how they are produced.
