EIGHT BROTHERS SERVING.
A particularly hard case came before the Birmingham Local Tribunal to-day when a general service master plumber, aged 35, married, with a delicate wife and five children under seven years of age, asked for the renewal of his exemption.
Applicant pointed out that he had already lost four brothers in the war, a fifth was recently discharged medically unfit after ½ years service, while three other brothers were still serving. He was given two months final.
