A BIRMINGHAM EXHIBITION.
The Lord Mayor (Sir David Brooks) will open a new exhibition of Canadian Official War Photographs in the Galleries of the Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham, this afternoon. The collection is notable for a series of remarkable photographs showing the capture of Vimy Ridge.
In one immense photograph the men are seen in the actual attack, moving slowly forward in extended formation, in the wake of Tanks heavily engaged, with shells bursting overhead.
