Activity: Children’s Trench Talk
August 24, 2014 - August 25, 2014
Communication was vital in the trenches during WW1. Take a trail around Dudmaston Hall gardens and learn about the different ways soldiers sent messages during the Great War. From semaphore to Morse code, telephones to pigeons. Create your own semaphore flags to take home and master the art of semaphore. Will you be able to spell your name using flags or send a secret message to friends? Alternatively create a paper poppy to take home. (Small additional charge applies. Prize every time on trail).
Sunday 24, Monday 25, & Wednesday 27 August 12pm – 5pm
