The Bill Lloyd Memorial Trust is holding a cricket match on Sunday 3rd August in Handsworth Park to commemorate the start of the First World War.  The Trust want to use the anniversary to mark the contribution to the conflict by professional and amateur sportsmen and the huge number of Birmingham’s citizens who signed up to fight for Britain in the Great War.
